Hi there! My name is Scott Daniel. My goal is is to write a 100,000-word novel in 2020. To be more specific, the goal is to have a completed first draft by October 31, 2020. Hitting that mark will allow me to set it aside for a month before editing and rewrites. From there, I may work with a developmental editor to hone it even further.

My ultimate goal is to publish. I've not decided whether I want to go the traditional route or indie. I would say that I'm leaning traditional, if for nothing more than a feeling of validation.

I've been published in other writing disciplines. I worked as a print journalist for about 20 years and "authored" thousands of stories, mostly at Detroit-area newspapers. In terms of fiction, I've self-published four short stories and a novella (all under the pen name PJ Lincoln).

I'm a Michigan guy through and through. I grew up in a suburb between Detroit and Ann Arbor and still live in the area with my family of five. I graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in journalism.
